What are Tymbr products made from?
Tymbr products are manufactured exclusively from Australian Araucaria (Hoop Pine), locally grown in sustainable, internationally certified plantations for continuous renewal. The stunning warm blonde appearance of Hoop Pine offers a modern and rich appearance to interior spaces.
Opt for either a Raw timber finish - ideal if you prefer this look or plan on staining the wood yourself. Or, for sealed timber we offer Black Laminate, White Laminate, Hoop Pine Laminate or Spotted Gum Laminate.
Our laminated shelvr units are made with the same Australian Araucaria (hoop pine) plywood, with a high pressure laminate (HPL) pressed onto each side. This offers a decorative and durable wear resistant surface while maintaining the solid timber substrate and beautiful exposed cross laminate timber edge.
The strength of cross-laminated Hoop Pine together with Tymbr's unique fixing-less designs offers a clean, functional, strong and highly durable design.

When will I receive my order?
Our products are manufactured at our facility in Newcastle, NSW, and are produced as orders are received. This ensures your item is fresh off the floor, that our team can give the time your products deserves to be finished properly and that we minimise any wastage of our precious resources. Generally, production time is 3-4 weeks, sometimes less in quiet times, and more in busy times. If your order is particularly urgent, please give us a call to discuss your requirements.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping Australia Wide on orders over $300, with some exceptions to far flung places. For smaller orders we offer a subsidised flat rate. If we can't deliver to your area, we will contact you to work out a reasonable solution, or in rare cases we may need to offer a refund.
How will my order be delivered?
Once we have booked your delivery you will receive tracking details and notifications of the delivery progress. If you have special requirements, please note that at the time of your order, or give us a call to discuss arrangements.
As our products are made from solid timber, they are heavier than the flimsy hollow core alternatives. Your order will be palletised or crated and we will arrange for our couriers to offload from their truck. On their own, each component is easily managed, and you can readily separate and carry inside.
Are any coatings or sealings required for your product?
Our raw and laminated finishes are already good to go, but for that extra bit of protection, especially in a busy household with little ones, we recommend a kid-friendly sealant on our Raw Hoop Pine is a top idea.
